Contact Us What are peptides?
Peptides are chains of amino acids that play an important role in biological signalling. Many modern medicines and research compounds begin with the study of peptide and protein pathways, because these molecules help researchers understand how cells communicate, respond, repair, and regulate key biological processes. Shorter amino-acid chains are generally referred to as peptides, while larger chains, such as human growth hormone, HGH, which contains 191 amino acids, are typically classified as proteins.
How should peptides be stored?
For long-term storage, lyophilized powder should generally be kept frozen, protected from light, moisture, and repeated temperature changes. Once reconstituted, peptides should typically be stored refrigerated at 2–8°C and handled under appropriate laboratory conditions.
What if I don't see the product I'm looking for?
If you do not see the product you are looking for, or if you need a specific size that is not currently listed, please contact us directly. Our available catalogue may change over time, and we may be able to confirm upcoming availability, alternate sizing options, or special product requests.
How often do you update the COA's?
COAs are updated with every new batch. When a new batch arrives, samples are submitted for third-party testing, and the corresponding COA is added once results are received and reviewed. This helps ensure each product is supported by batch-specific documentation rather than relying on outdated or previous-batch results.
What is your refund policy?
Our products are tested for quality, consistency, and purity, with documentation provided where available for each batch. Due to the research-use nature of our products, returns and replacements are limited to products that are lost or damaged during shipping.
If you believe there is an issue with a product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Special circumstances may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis when a potential product deficiency is reported promptly and supported with clear details.
How long does shipping usually take?
Shipping typically takes 2 – 4 business days, depending on your location and the selected shipping service. Delivery times may vary slightly during holidays, high-volume periods, or due to carrier delays.
Where do you ship?
We ship throughout Canada using Canada Post Xpresspost for fast, trackable delivery. We can also arrange shipping to the United States and select international destinations; however, shipping costs, timelines, customs requirements, and import guidelines vary by location. Customers outside Canada should contact us directly for a shipping quote and to confirm available options before placing an order.
Do you offer research, professional, or creator discounts?
Yes. We may offer discount options for eligible researchers, medical professionals, laboratory professionals, independent research groups, and approved educational content creators. If you are conducting independent research or creating compliant educational content related to research-use products, please contact us directly to discuss available pricing or collaboration options.
Are all peptides made the same?
No. Not all peptides are made, handled, packaged, or verified to the same standard. Peptide quality can vary depending on the manufacturer, raw material source, handling environment, packaging process, storage conditions, and whether batch-specific testing is completed.
Most peptide raw materials are manufactured overseas, including in China, then packaged or distributed by suppliers in Canada or other countries. Because of this, it is important to look beyond the country listed on a website and confirm whether the product is supported by proper documentation, testing, and transparent handling practices.
Customers should be cautious when purchasing from new or unknown suppliers, especially as the popularity of research peptides has led to a rise in pop-up vendors with limited quality-control information. At MedPep, we focus on quality, consistency, and batch-specific documentation so customers can make more informed research purchasing decisions.
If you have questions about sourcing, testing, or product documentation, please contact us and we would be happy to provide further information.
Do you provide bulk pricing for custom quantities?
Yes. We offer bulk pricing for larger orders, custom quantities, or recurring research needs. Please contact us directly with the product name, desired quantity, and any specific size requirements, and we will review available pricing options.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer free shipping on all orders over $250.00 before applicable taxes or discounts. For orders below this amount, shipping rates will be calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping option.
What information is included in a batch-specific COA?
Available certificates of analysis provide batch-specific analytical information, including the laboratory, testing method and reported findings.
What does LC-MS/MS testing show?
LC-MS/MS testing can help assess molecular identity. It should not be interpreted by itself as confirmation of purity, concentration, sterility or suitability for a particular use.
Where can MEDPEP analytical documents be found?
Available certificates of analysis and supporting analytical documents are provided through the applicable product or research-resource pages.
Are MEDPEP products intended for human or veterinary use?
No. MEDPEP products are supplied strictly for laboratory research and are not intended for human or veterinary use.
